1st of February 2017 – It has been over 4 years since Digital Innovation Technology Systems (ISTD) Ltd. (“DIT Systems”), developer, integrator and aggregator of sophisticated VAS and telecommunications solutions, have partnered with Smart Axiata, the leading mobile operator in the Kingdom of Cambodia, to provide Smart Box service for Cambodian subscribers. Since launch, Smart Box has become one of the most significant Smart Axiata’s services in the terms of revenue growth.

Market research firm Frost & Sullivan honored Smart Axiata for successful execution of its overall business strategy and stellar performance. Smart delivered another year of outstanding performance in a highly competitive market: Smart registered 30% revenue growth as a result of its active marketing push, strong support from its traditional services business and significant uptake of its digital and value added services including SmartLuy, Smart Music, Smart Loan, iCall uPay, Smart Tunes and Smart Box. Voice revenues grew by 7% while non-voice revenues grew by more than 86%.

Now DIT Systems is focused on deployment of a range of new services for Smart Axiata, including voice-based entertainment services on the basis of DIT SENSE, DIT System’s innovative voice and emotions analysis technology. One of such services, Smart Love Detector, has already been successfully launched on Cambodian market. New Services are planned to launch this calendar year.
