Digital Innovation Technology Systems (ISTD) Ltd. (“DIT Systems”), developer, integrator and aggregator of sophisticated VAS and telecommunications solutions, have partnered with Smart Axiata, the leading mobile operator in the Kingdom of Cambodia, to launch Smart FunLie service, which is now available for all Smart Axiata subscribers via short number 778.

FunLie uses voice analysis technology to find out if the person you are talking to is telling the truth. Results are given in real-time as you talk to someone over the phone, with a signal being given when someone is thought to be lying.

The service was in its test mode from March, but fully available for users from May, 2018. The user can check his or her friend by just dialing 778. IVR will provide clear explanation of how to use the service. FunLie signals 3 types of results:

 

• “Stressed”;

• “Not being completely honest with you, but it’s unclear whether they’re lying or not”;

• “Likely to be lying”.

 

Every result will be marked with appropriate sound just in the time of conversation. Before the call, user can hear sound and their explanations as many time as he or she needs to remember them. After that, subscriber will be asked to enter the phone number of the person he or she wishes to call, and the conversation starts.

While conversation takes place between the 2 parties, the system analyzes the voices of both interlocutors. The analysis of the unique DIT SENSE solution focuses on parameters associated with lie, like stress, intensity of thinking and a whole range of others.

The technology at the core of DIT SENSE solution is widely used in the field of security and homeland defense, anti-fraud, and has now been adapted by DIT Systems for entertainment purposes. DIT SENSE is capable of boundless possibilities for a variety of additional services in the sphere of voice entertainment content.

To subscribe to FunLie, user has to send SMS ON to 778 or just dial *778#. FunLie costs 5 USD cent a day only, calls are charged according to users’ Smart plan.
