DIT Systems and Smart Mobile to launch
new mobile service in Cambodia
Smart Mobile, one of the leading mobile operators in Cambodia, has launched SmartBox service available to all subscribers. The new service offers aggregation of all user’s email and social network accounts, calendar and contacts into a single user-friendly interface accessible from any mobile phone anytime, anywhere.
Once SmartBox is activated on a mobile device, users simply need to log into one account to be able to perform a wide variety of online activities: view, send, receive emails, keep in touch with friends via social networks, work with any types of attachments, create contacts, black and white lists, synchronize their data with Google and perform other tasks – all conveniently out of SmartBox intuitive interface.
In addition, one of the unique features of the service is the ability to set up free SMS/WAP-Push alerts that will inform the user of the incoming mail, social networks or calendar events.

SmartBox works on almost any mobile phone with the Internet browser and does not require any additional software download. The service was developed by Digital Innovation Technology Systems (ISTD) Ltd. ("DIT") to help mobile handset users to keep up with constantly increasing flow of information from multiple sources.

To activate SmartBox users need to send a blank SMS (or letter “F”) to a short number 565. During the first month after service launch all users who sign up for the first time will receive a FREE 30-day trial period. Post-trial subscription fee is charged USD 0.07/day.
