DIT Systems and UMS launch

a suite of info-educational services for mobile subscribers in Uzbekistan

28 June 2018. – Digital Innovation Technology Systems (ISTD) Ltd. (“DIT Systems”), a dynamically growing developer, integrator and VAS-provider in the field of telecommunications, in partnership with Universal Mobile Systems (“UMS”), one of the leading mobile operators in the Republic of Uzbekistan, have started their cooperation by launching a range of infoeducational services available to all UMS subscribers.

One of the leading mobile communication operators in the Republic of Uzbekistan, Universal Mobile Systems, and international company DIT Systems, primarily known as a developer, integrator and VAS-provider in the field of telecommunications, have started full-scale cooperation. The first joint project of the companies, launched within the frames of the agreements, is the implementation of informative and educational services, which since 28th of June 2018 have become available to all subscribers within UMS network via short numbers 7300 and 7400.

The modern market is characterized by a number of stable trends, among which are: an increase in the pace of life, a decline in the role of printed products as traditional sources of knowledge, a change in the cognitive skills of users toward so-called "clip thinking" and more. Info-educational services were developed to meet the demand for high-quality scientific and educational content with the consideration of these trends and in the form mostly convenient for the modern consumer. The project involves the introduction of a wide range of services. The plans include the launch of services assisting to learn the traffic laws, the basics of first aid, modern art, to expand the general erudition and so on. At the moment, via 7400 number, UMS subscribers already have access to such services as "Erudite" (service with definitions of new popular words), "Financier" (financial advice service), "Just Space" (news about space and high technologies), and there are such services as “English by phone", designed to expand the vocabulary and grammatical knowledge of the subscriber, available via 7300 number. To subscribe to the services USSD-commands can be used.

This is especially important, considering the target audience of educational initiatives is primarily children and students youth.

The cost of each service is 485 sums/day.
